Ben at Nearly 22 Months

Ben is almost 22 months! I know I say it every entry, but seriously, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! He is going to be 2 soon and I am not ready to say his age in actual numbers. That's ok because I'll just continue to say his age in months and confuse everyone! Well, my sadness over his growing older is natural, so I hear, and it's actually very fun and incredible to watch him figure things out. He climbed out of his crib a few times so we had to put together the toddler crib. He loves being a big boy and got used to the bed right away. He is so independent and such an individual. He doesn't like to be told what to do AT ALL. I don't know where he gets that from. :) As you can see from the photos, we've been having lots of fun playing with yogurt, toys, tummies, sitting like Mommy and Papa on the couch, wearing sunglasses like Mommy,playing footsie with who ever is willing, hanging out in Maikke and Luk's new backyard in Palo Alto where he managed a big ol' bruise on his head (that was quite a fall...I'll never forget the sound of that "ker-plunk"), and generally growing up so big and strong. Lately, his favorite thing is a "mogey" a.k.a. a popsicle. Those 2 year old...excuse me...24 month old molars and coming in so the mogies feel good! Enjoy the pictures!
