The Early Days of Benjamin Jack Williamson

The purpose of this blog is to capture the very beginning of our new baby Benjamin's life. I hope this will be a simple way for our family and friends located across the country and world to stay in touch with what is happening with Benjamin, Steve, Me, and of course, Buster Brown.

The Black Hole

Sorry it's been so long since I've put new pictures on the blog! We've begun a new chapter in our lives with Ben in day care and me back in school, I guess I forgot to blog! Whoops! Well, he's growing exponentially and is turning into a REAL toddler right before our eyes. It's really an amazing and undescribable experience to watch him grow. He LOVES daycare and Nana (the wonderful lady that watches him) so much. Everytime I go in to pick him up he's smiling away and being adored by all! We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful daycare for him. Even though it's hard to be away from him, I am really enjoying school and can't wait to be a teacher in the real world. Ben is already 16 pounds....and he's only 3 MONTHS OLD!!! To give you a little perspective, I was 17 pounds at a year old! He's our linebacker...our little monkey...our Stewie (as in the Family Guy)...our little wonderful man! He's starting to grab onto things with a fierce grip and is just about to roll over from his back to stomach. He lifts himself up to a 45 degree angle when on his stomach. It's so awesome to watch. And, he drools all over the place and is constantly putting his hands and whatever comes in contact with his mouth IN his mouth! Even my earrings have gone into the 'black hole!' Enjoy these pictures!
