The Early Days of Benjamin Jack Williamson

The purpose of this blog is to capture the very beginning of our new baby Benjamin's life. I hope this will be a simple way for our family and friends located across the country and world to stay in touch with what is happening with Benjamin, Steve, Me, and of course, Buster Brown.

Crusin'

Here are some recent photos of Ben doing all of the things that grown up babies do! He's walking along furniture, feeding HIMSELF things like cheerios and bananas, and he likes to bang his hands against everything. I think he likes the sound it makes. A couple of the pictures on this post are from when his friend Issac came over one night to play. It was really sweet to see them together and I think Ben was a bit jealous at first. He didn't know what to think of his parents giving attention to another baby! But he got over it and they played well. Some of the other pics are of Ben with Buster before we went on one of our daily walks to Victory Park here in Stockton. The three of us walk every morning after Steve leaves for work. It's been beautiful here, especially in the morning so it's fun to enjoy it with Ben and Bus. I think Ben really likes the walks. He uses the front tray of the stroller to pull himself forward as we walk and his hair always catches a little wind. I always shout to him, "I'm the king of the world." He looks at me like I'm nuts. But it's very Titanic like. He's so cute when he does it I just melt! Yep, I am officially a dorky parent. Well, enjoy the pictures. They are some of our favorites!
