New Belly Shot, Pictures of Benjamin's Room and others

We had lots of fun this weekend. Our friend Shane came to visit with his two 'kids,' Takota and Nikita, two beautiful huskies and Buster's BFFs. So because the dogs were wrestling and getting dirty, we took Buster to Petco for a trip to the doggie wash! He really dislikes getting washed, but selfishly, we love it when he smells like lilacs. There's a funny picture of Steve giving Buster his bath. There's also a picture of the belly to update you on my progress. Yes, I know...could it grow anymore?!?!? We put the finishing touches on Benjamin's room too! We washed all of his clothes, organized the dresser and packed our bags for the hospital. Only 18 days to go! Yes, I am counting down. :) The theme for his room is sand and surf...but it turned out to be nautical I suppose. Whatever it is, we think it's pretty cute!

Less than a month to go!

It's been far too long since I've posted a message! Time is flying by so quickly. Can you believe we are less than a month away from Benjamin's due date? June 10th! We are so excited and cannot wait to meet him officially and not just by saying hi when he gives me a swift kick to the ribs. OUCH! I am experiencing some of the discomforts of pregnancy so I think about a month to go is all I can take! My legs, ankles and feet have turned into genuine 'cankles' and I have one pair of shoes I can wear...men's flip-flops! They are pretty funny, but fashion is the last thing I care about right now. We are putting some finishing touches on the baby's room, so when that's done I'll post some pictures of the finished product (I promise Sizzler!) But, here are some pictures of the unfinished product...more coming soon!

Berkeley Shower

Benjamin had another shower! My mom's best friend Debbie threw us a wonderful shower at her home in Berkeley. It was beautiful and tons of fun! Complete with yummy food including fruit, which I can't get enough of and one shower game: give the mom-to-be a piece of advice! Naturally lots of tears were shed but more laughs were had!

Buster is Two!

Buster is two-years old today! We couldn't be more proud. Can you imagine how we'll be with Benjamin if we're like this with Buster? Here are some pictures of Buster posing as he soaks up the sun in our backyard. He loves to model.. Steve thinks I'm nuts, but I swear Buster knows that I am pregnant! He keeps sniffing my belly and gently trying to lick it. I've heard that dogs can sense when their human-mom is pregnant!
